Vayda and these terms
Vayda is published by Raul Rath. It offers personalised Jyotisha interpretations, educational readings, AI conversation and optional spiritual practices. These terms govern use of the Vayda app and website. Contact support@vayda.app for help or a concern.
Vayda is intended for adults. You must be legally able to accept these terms and use the service in accordance with applicable law. Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled.
The nature of the guidance
Vayda translates Hindu traditions, Jyotisha and spiritual teachings into material for learning and personal reflection. Astrological interpretations are not scientifically established predictions. Forecast bars are interpretive levels, not probabilities of a particular outcome.
AI responses and authored material can contain mistakes or incomplete interpretations. Source links help you investigate a teaching; they do not make every application of that teaching certain. Use your own judgement when making decisions. Vayda does not provide professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial or emergency services.
Practices are voluntary. No mantra, reading, forecast or chart promises a particular result, and no purchase is required to avert a predicted misfortune.
Your details and device
Provide information you are entitled to use. Do not submit another person’s private details without the permission required by law. Birth-time precision affects rising signs and divisional charts; estimates should be marked as estimates.
There is no Vayda account or automatic profile sync. You are responsible for access to your device and its backup settings. Editing birth details can replace saved calculations. Clearing local data is irreversible through the app and restarts onboarding; it does not erase information already received by an external provider.
Introductory access and membership
In the current app, the seven-day introductory period begins when you choose to start it and is recorded on that device. Starting this local period does not create an App Store or Google Play subscription, attach a payment method or authorise a charge. Until store purchases are available, access does not stop when this local period ends.
If a paid membership is offered, the purchase screen will identify what is included, its price and billing period, any trial eligibility and duration, when payment begins, renewal terms and how to cancel before you confirm through the relevant store. Website pricing alone does not enrol you in a subscription.
Store purchases and cancellation
Where offered, an App Store or Google Play subscription is processed by that store under the terms shown at purchase. Manage or cancel it through the store account used to subscribe. Follow the cancellation deadline displayed by the store if you do not want a trial or subscription to renew.
Deleting data, uninstalling Vayda or turning off notifications does not cancel a store subscription. Refund requests follow the relevant store’s process and any rights you have under applicable consumer law. Vayda will not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
AI and responsible use
Ask Vayda is an AI feature, not a conversation with a human astrologer. You choose whether to send a question and can manage AI sharing in Profile. Relevant data is processed as described in the Privacy policy. Avoid submitting information you do not want processed by that service.
Do not use Vayda unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, attempt unauthorised access, bypass service limits or interfere with its operation. We may limit online access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security problems or legal requirements. We will preserve any applicable consumer rights.
You can report a problematic response to support@vayda.app. Include only the excerpt needed to identify the issue, with unrelated personal details removed.
Content and linked sources
You may use Vayda for personal learning and reflection. Original Vayda writing, design and other materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms do not prevent uses permitted by law or a particular content licence.
Scriptures, modern translations, recordings and linked resources can have different owners and licences. Attribution is not permission to redistribute a translation, recording or other protected work. External services and sources have their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and updates
Fresh calculations and AI replies require a working internet connection and an available service. Previously saved charts, dated forecasts and bundled readings can remain available offline. Saved information is not a substitute for a fresh calculation for a different date.
Availability can be affected by maintenance, errors, device compatibility and usage limits. We may improve features, correct content and issue updates. Material changes to paid access or these terms will be communicated before they take effect, subject to applicable law and store terms.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where the law permits.
Contact support@vayda.app so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not require you to give up your right to contact a regulator or seek a legal remedy.
